2009 6th Annual Law Enforcement Challenge “Guacamole Bowl” Raises $13,000 for S4EA
The 6th Annual Law Enforcement Challenge “Guacamole Bowl” held on Saturday, March 7, 2009 at the Balboa Park Club was a great success. The Guacamole Bowl attracted more than 1,000 guests who tasted guacamole from 30 teams.

The winner of the coveted “Guacamole Cup” was Casa de Pico. The winner of the People’s Choice Award was the Hot Guac Cops-SDPD West. The winner of the Sue Pursel Memorial Family Award was Grandma’s Best. The prize for Best Décor went to Our Lady of Guacamole.
The Guacamole Bowl raised $13,000 for Sports for Exceptional Athletes. The Guacamole Bowl is co-sponsored by San Diego Park & Recreation-Therapeutic Recreation Services.
