10th Annual Law Enforcement vs. Kiwanis Challenge Guacamole Bowl

On Saturday, February 23, 2013 members of Law Enforcement, Kiwanis Service Clubs and the general public will scoop and smash and chop and mix it up at the Balboa Park Club (2150 Pan American Road West, San Diego 92101) to answer the question:  “Who Makes The Best Guacamole?

The Guacamole Bowl is open to the Public who are invited to come out and sample all the great Guacamole. A $5 admission fee will get you a bag of Mission Tortilla Chips and all the Guacamole you can eat. You will also have the opportunity to vote for your favorite recipe and select the finalists in each division

In addition to sampling all the great Guacamole, the US Border Patrol Color Guard and Chula Vista Mariachis will perform!

A silent auction and raffle will be held!

The 10th annual Guacamole Bowl will pit (excuse the pun) San Diego’s Finest against a variety of teams in a good old fashioned cook-off.

Competing along side the Law Enforcement teams will be a Kiwanis Service Clubs Division as well as community teams competing in the Open/Public Division. 30+ teams with 180 competitors are expected to compete in the divisions.

1st prize will not only include the winning team’s name permanently engraved on the highly coveted, ‘Guacamole Cup’ but will afford the winning team bragging rights for a year.
